Tahoe Ski/Snowboard AdventureApplication
Send It on the slopes! Participants will have the opportunity to take on the mountains of Lake Tahoe for three days of skiing and riding at Squaw Valley. Additional activities include snowshoeing, x-country skiing, and unwinding at the Send It cabin. Equipment, lift tickets, lessons, food and lodging are provided to participants, free of charge. All skill levels are welcome.
Surf & Ride Northern CaliforniaApplication
Participants will have two days each of surfing at Stinson Beach and mountain biking on Mt. Tamalpais in Marin, CA. Additional activities include, paddle boarding, hiking in the Redwoods, and time to connect and relax at the Send It beach house. You will have the opportunity to explore all that northern California has to offer from the ocean to the mountains – a chance to push your boundaries in the water and on the trail. Expect a balance of outdoor adventure and time to relax and enjoy the beautiful area. All equipment, food and lodging are included and free for participants.
Camp & Kayak Tomales Bay, CAApplication
Experience the joy of sea kayaking on this 3-day adventure on Tomales Bay, CA! Come Send It and experience first hand this jewel of the Point Reyes peninsula - we’ll paddle to an secluded beach where we’ll set up camp for 2 nights of sleeping under the stars. Days will be spent exploring Tomales Bay, both by foot and kayak. This trip is all abilities and backgrounds, and no previous kayaking or camping experience is necessary. All gear, instruction, and food is included and free for participants.
Alumni River AdventureApplication
All Send It alums are invited for a weekend of camping and rafting on the American River in Northern California. This adventure is an opportunity for past Send It participants to reunite with their adventure buddies, reconnect with the Send It community, and take on a new challenge on the river. The trip will include two days of rafting class 2 - 4 rapids on the American River, camping under the stars on the beaches of the river, and reconnecting with old and new friends. Look forward to seeing everyone!
Join us on a 3-night backpacking adventure to Young Lakes in the pristine backcountry of Tuolumne Meadows. This moderately easy 14-mile (round-trip) hike passes through tranquil meadows, pine forest groves, and is surrounded by stunning granite peaks. We will hike to the lowest of the three alpine lakes situated at the base of Mt Conness where we will set up our camp for both nights. From here, we have options for day hikes to explore the area. Expect a balance of adventure and serenity in the outdoors, with time to relax, connect, and simply take it all in. (Dates may change depending on National Park permits)
Climb & Paddle in Lake TahoeApplication
September might be the best time of year in Tahoe! Come for four days of paddleboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and enjoying all that the mountains have to offer! Additional activities include fishing, swimming off the dock, BBQ's, and campfires. All gear, lodging, food, and equipment are included and free for participants.
